I graduated with a first class degree in Economics from University of Cambridge, ranking second in the Economics Tripos. Afterwards I completed the MPhil in Economics, gaining a distinction before studying and finishing my PhD in Econometric Theory. My research spans econometric theory along with applied economic applications, e.g. the impact of tax incentives on donations.
During my PhD at Cambridge I supervised small groups in economics, economics and maths and statistics, and provided tutorials for the M300 graduate course in econometrics.
Following this I held posts at four leading universities undertaking research and teaching. I took a post to write lead and deliver a second year module in Financial Econometrics.
Since I have designed and led courses in applied and theoretical economics and econometrics courses, including Time Series Econometrics and Financial Econometrics, alongside others, and provided tutorials and seminars in a range of subjects in economics, econometrics and maths across all levels. I undertook administration duties, and supervised and assisted over 50 undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations in a range of topics from micro theory to finance and applied econometrics.
I have experience teaching 1-1, small groups to large lectures halls with a lot of experience delivering lectures and seminars online, along with 1-1 tuition. Student feedback on my teaching at all universities I have worked at has generally been very good, with students appreciating the time and effort I put in to helping students understand concepts at a deeper level and to meet their full potential.
